WordPress 2.3.1 Released，修正了超過了二十多個 bugs，例如：

• Tagging support for Windows Live Writer
• Fixes for a login bug that affected those with a Blog Address different than their WordPress Address
• Faster taxonomy database queries, especially tag intersection queries
• Link importer fixes

因為修正一個 XSS 的安全漏洞，建議所有 2.3 版本的用戶盡快更新。

WordPress 2.3 登場，新版本 WordPress 有以下的新功能。

• 內置支援 Tagging
• WordPress, plugin 的更新提示
• Canonical URLs - 能將 www 和沒有 www 的 URL 自動 redirect，post slug 轉後舊 permalink 依舊有效等，但實則上怎運作我真的不太清楚
• Pending review status - 能在多作者環境底下，用一個新 post status 來顯示一些 post 需要 review 才正式發布
• 開放更多 TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor 之前被隱藏的功能

Christine 公布了 Ultimate Tag Warrior Final Bugfix Release，修正了和 contact form plugin 的問題，只要在 Dashboard -> Options -> Tags 再儲存設定一次便可。

至於在 tag page 遇到 404 Error 的朋友，只要在 Dashboard -> Options -> Permalinks 再儲存一次設定便可，還有 Christine 想找一些 beta testers 來測試她的 WordPress 2.3 的 tag plugin，估計應該是將現有 UTW tag 的顯示模式存用在 WP 2.3 的 tagging structure 的一個 plugin，有興趣而又有用 WordPress 2.3 alpha 的話可 send email 至 beta [at] neato [dot] co [dot] nz。
