Christine 公布了 Ultimate Tag Warrior Final Bugfix Release，修正了和 contact form plugin 的問題，只要在 Dashboard -> Options -> Tags 再儲存設定一次便可。

至於在 tag page 遇到 404 Error 的朋友，只要在 Dashboard -> Options -> Permalinks 再儲存一次設定便可，還有 Christine 想找一些 beta testers 來測試她的 WordPress 2.3 的 tag plugin，估計應該是將現有 UTW tag 的顯示模式存用在 WP 2.3 的 tagging structure 的一個 plugin，有興趣而又有用 WordPress 2.3 alpha 的話可 send email 至 beta [at] neato [dot] co [dot] nz。

Sorry guys, the previous patch of Extended Live Archives is not yet completed. I've only catered the changes of category structure, tag is still using the one with Ultimate Tag Warrior but not WordPress 2.3. New patch of ELA will be coming soon.

真的對不起，之前的 Extended Live Archives 修改還不是完整，我只針對了 category 結構的改動，tag 仍然是使用 Ultimate Tag Warrior 而不是 WordPress 2.3 內置的，遲些會有更新版本推出。

Christine 說因為 WordPress 2.3 trunk 中已經包含 tagging 功能，宣布推出 Ultimate Tag Warrior 最終版本，這是一個 bug fix 版本，之後她會開始埋首將現有 UTW 顯示 tag 效果的功能用在 WordPress 2.3 的 tagging structure 內，以另一個 plugin 出現在大家面前。

Ryan commit 了 changeset 5224，將 bbPress 的 tag cloud 功能加進 WordPress，再加上在 trunk 中的 import Ultimate Tag Warrior tag 的功能，除了在管理 tag 的功能比 UTW 沒那麼完善，tag cloud 只能用字體大小，不能用顏色分辨 tag 的使用多寡外，WordPress 2.2 的 tagging 功能愈來愈齊全，雖然從 moeffju 知道一個解決 UTW 和 WordPress 2.2 不兼容的方法，但不知為何試了都解決不了這問題。

看來放棄 Ultimate Tag Warrior 快是時候了。

之前談過 WordPress 2.2 將支援 tagging，功能上和 Ultimate Tag Warrior 會有所重疊，但估不到不但功能重疊，原來還有不兼容的問題，我剛剛發現 UTW 的 tag search 功能會失效，估計自行解決這問題有頗高的難度，所以已經在 UTW support forum 報告這問題，不知何時才可解決，不過自決定使用 SVN 版本就預了有這類型的問題，唯有暫時放棄這 blog 的 tag search 功能吧。
