FON 會在2006年12月4至8日，於 AsiaWorld-Expo 舉行的 ITU Telecom World 2006（2006 世界電信展）中免費贈送 FON wireless router - La Fonera，會到場參觀的朋友而又想加入 FON 的話，不妨到他們的 Booth（Booth 8019.010 Hong Kong/China Pavilion Hall 8），但他們沒提到會送出多少部 La Fonera。
