Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3 Released，記著要 uninstall 之前的 IE 7 Beta 版才安裝 IE 7 Beta 3，如有 uninstall 問題，可參考這篇 FAQ 及 Uninstalling IE7 Beta Releases，至於新的改進可參考 Beta 3 UX Improvements 及 Read Feeds with Ease in Beta 3。

據 IEBlog 說這個版本應該是最後一個 Beta 版本，如無意外下個會是 Release Candidicates。

BumpTop 3D Desktop Prototype

BumpTop 一個模擬真正桌面的 3D desktop　prototype，看過影片後覺得非常有趣，它是以筆作操控，將文件、相片、網頁內容等同真正書桌上的文件，可以整齊疊成一堆或打散，平放或站立，改變位置，文件分類、整批移動等現實生活中對書桌上文件做的工作，他們還計劃將這個 prototype 變成真正的 desktop interface，我覺得這個 prototype 雖然有趣，但會要我這樣處理文件我又覺得不太方便，或者對一些將所有東西放在 desktop 的人會是好事，起碼不需要 virtual desktop 便能大大增加 desktop 可用面積（體積？）。

  • Modified: Version Number to 0.10beta-r18.
  • Fixed: a button link in the admin page got broken. Should be fixed now.
  • Fixed: a typo that prevents the cache from loading : should be fixed as well
再重申一次由 0.10 Beta-r17 版本開始，cache folder 位置改變了，由以前的 
/wp-content/af-extended-live-archive
轉到 
/wp-content/plugins/af-extended-live-archive/cache

The Inquirer 報導在一個日本的 Conference 中，一部 Dell notebook 電腦突然冒出火花，然後發生爆炸，詳細型號還未清楚，難道和之前香港手機爆炸的原因相同，都是由於電池引起？

Extended Live Archive 0.10 Beta-r17 Released，以下是這個版本的 changelog。

06/19 - 0.10beta-r17 : Changelog since 0.10beta-r16.

  • Modified: Version Number to 0.10beta-r17.
  • Fixed: a bug in the javascript which was ot setting explicitly this asynchronous character of an AJAX request
  • Fixed: the way the javascript caching was handle : should save some bandwidth !
  • Fixed: the cache dirrectory is now part of the package instead of being created by the PHP script. This should help solve some of the trouble associated to permissions
  • Modified: Played again with the javascript itself to reduce its size, hence reducing the host load.
